I know it has been a while, but after a long rest and much encouragement here I am.
Today I was out of my home office by 10am and decided it was time for a "Me" day which I love!
After running my errands, I threw on one of my favorite classical music CD's
Poured myself a glass of Champagne in my favorite glass ( it was 3 o' clock ), here's a similar one
and started a luxurious dinner for my soon to be hubby and I.. He loves lamb shanks, almost as much as I do so I found this recipe
Thankfully I had all the ingredients in, as soon as I see lamb shanks in Publix I buy them to store in the freezer, plus the Guinness was in the pantry waiting to be used for a steak and ale pie...perhaps next time!
I just love hearty food, even in Mid-Summer Florida every once in a while I need a good heavy meal.
Well, now I'm blogging away, champagne in hand.... don't you just love a little luxury in your life?

To totally ruin the feel of the day, I'm putting Daphne Du Mauriers "Rebecca" back on my book shelf and am about to dive in to my new borrow from the library Charlaine Harris' "Day Shift"
I couldn't resist!
