Days seem to fly by!

Wow, I can’t believe I’m Engaged… My BF proposed to me at Bok Tower Gardens, one of my favorite places in the world!

So romantic and sweetly planned. He’d hidden my rose gold, morganite and diamond dream bling ring inside a cute heart shaped Altoid tin.

ring(Excuse the ugly hand pic, but I haven’t taken a more flattering one yet !)

We sat on a little bench under a huge tree,  looking out at the tower, offered me a mint and  made me the happiest girl in the world Smile

It’s funny how I’d been dropping hints, well , maybe more like dropping huge boulders…trying to get a proposal. Yet now it’s actually happened I’m stunned, so happy… can’t believe its happening to me..

Time seems to be slipping through my fingers at the moment…between work and getting things ready for the engagement party, it’s insane.

I’m forever calmed by my loves though…. Between my FiancĂ©'s funny phone calls throughout the day, and Chico and Bella (my two fur babies, feisty Chihuahua and extremely high maintenance long haired black cat)

Sorry to keep this short, but I felt like a bit of blogging, yet have seriously low spare time…

A little bit of daydreaming...

Some days you just need a little bit of beautiful in your life. So this evening I shall let my good friend Pinterest guide me through some visual delights.
Lets start with where I want to be right now

Glass of champagne in hand, over looking the city of lights

Ahh to quietly sit and daydream...

It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presence may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought. ~James Douglas

Leu Gardens Plant sale = Colourful inspiration

p

My family visited Leu Gardens over the weekend, I was amazed by the abundance of beautiful plants that were on sale.  I am a huge fan of the English garden, When I eventually get a garden of my own, I think it will overflow with the beautiful pinks and blues that remind me of my childhood :)

photo_5  I loved all the little statues that were dotted around the gardens, as a child my favorite book was “The Secret Garden,”  so this visit took me back to my imaginative 10 year old self.

Olive trees, orchids, ferns of every type, herbs, bromeliads, roses and my all time favorite blue, purple and pink hydrangeas.

I would highly recommend a visit to the Harry P Leu Gardens in Orlando, whether it be on one of it’s events or just to view the gardens on a more peaceful day. It gives you the perfect opportunity to view the REAL Florida, and perhaps take you back to the days your imagination had no limits and gardens were meant for teddy bear picnics, Hide and Go Seek or just doing cart wheels and hand stands on the grass.
